Julie graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2016 with a B.A. in psychology. While earning her undergraduate degree, Julie worked at the Laboratory for Brain Science and Cognition and completed a senior research project studying the effect of emotion regulation on inhibitory control. After graduating, Julie spent two years as a technician administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to patients suffering from major depression. Between 2021 and 2024, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Division of Neuropsychiatry and Neuromodulation at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she conducted studies investigating the effects of photobiomodulation on conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, and mild cognitive impairment. Now Julie is excited to fill the role of Project Manager for the Emotion study at the CNL-SD. Beyond her work experience, Julie enjoys traveling, live music, and spending time with her nephews.
