Sarah Sant, MSc
Senior Clinical Research Coordinator & CNL Neuro Psych Tester
Sarah (she/her) obtained both her BSc. Psychology (Honours) and her MSc. Clinical and Developmental Neuropsychology in England where she researched emotion in relation to facial identity learning and sense of agency. Alongside her research activities during her studies, Sarah gained clinical experience working as an assistant neuropsychologist with stroke patients and as a crisis phone line operator for Nightline Association.
She started her work with the New England Family Study (NEFS) at Brown University in 2021 on an NIH R01 project investigating mechanisms of risk and resilience to age-related cognitive decline under the supervision of Drs. William Heindel and Stephen Buka. While there Sarah was involved in data collection, including neuropsychological testing, as well as other responsibilities pertaining to data management and administrative duties.
Currently, she joins the team as a Clinical Research Coordinator focusing on neuropsychological testing working across projects. Her experience with NEFS makes her a perfect fit to continue with NEFS Aging II, NEFS Score, and work with Hatch II.
Sarah is a member of the International Neuropsychological Society, American Psychological Association, and British Psychological Society. In her spare time, she enjoys playing field hockey, spending time outdoors, and traveling.
